Shame you didn't mention the domain names and IP's used by said tariffs. I would love to add them to my spammer blacklist!

Brute-force spammers get blacklisted in a heart beat so you will have them soon

Too bad their Domain is no longer working I was curious about the much lower prices.

        Tom,

Is there any other methods of fighting spammers bar blacklisting and reporting to Spamcop? I am finding that my email addresses are being added to so called opt-in lists, but I did not opt-in. The spammers seem to be helping each other out by submitting details via online opt-in forms. When I ask the companies to stop they say that I provided my details and that they have my permission, which is pure and utter lies. I actually called one such company in the UK and they provided me with the record as per Data Protection Act, they provided a date/time and IP address. The IP address was based in USA, so the company agreed that it was highly unlikely to have been me. But this all has got me thinking, is this a way the spammers can legally pass on personal information? Have you come across this before? How are the spammers actually profiting from filling out on-line forms?

          Hi Clive.

There are many methods in fighting SPAM: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anti-spam_techniques however if the E-Mail in question has been publicly exposed then I do not think that there is anything that will help.

"is this a way the spammers can legally pass on personal information"

          - It is a way, but is it legal? It is more like a grey matter to my.

I have seen subscription forms, where it stated that they can provide your details to third party companies.

Also, I have recently found a "whois scrapper" - input it a list of domains and it will sc**** all E-Mail Accounts from it, including Registrant E-Mail, Admin E-Mail, Tech and etc.

I am not sure how they profit, sorry, I am not specialist ha-ha

I guess they are selling something. V!agra maybe?

They are selling something, someone is buying something.

In my opinion the opt-in forms are just a tool for the spammers.

It is more like niche-specified client's list.

          Best Regards,
          Tom.

They profit by selling their lists of email addresses to each other.

I have resorted to blocking their IP addresses at my ingress router. That really gets their goat.

At some point this is all going to come to a head, and something major will need to be done to stop SPAM.

            Thanks,
            -Deano

Only "nearly" 100% delivery of mail? I found that more funny than the rest of it, lol.
