These days there are some good free search engine optimization tools available that will get the job done sufficiently; however in certain circumstances.

Here are my favorite free SEO tools :
Keyphrase Research: Wordtracker and Google Adwords
Analytics: GoogleAnalytics
Link Building: Valid Rank
Competition: Alexa

I use SEO Powersuite on a regular basis. It's not just one tool, it's a collection of SEO apps that has a keyword tool, a backlink checker, a site auditor, etc.

I use it to checks my own website (backlinks, onpage errors, SERPs rankings) and to spy on my competitors.

normally i used page rank checker or alexa rank checker tool,also no-follow or do-follow seo tool

It depends on your requirements, I mostly use page rank checker, no do follow and Seo quake.
