  • Configuring the mod_proxy extension in .htaccess

I am trying to submit a form from a newly installed website, but get a 404/403 error. I think that the mod_proxy extension in PHP is set to block access to the directories for the GET command. I don't want to change anything in the PHP settings on my VPS because I have other sites that may need those settings. So how can I bypass this issue using .htaccess or some other method.

Thank you in advance, I know that I can always come here for good answers...

Never mind!!! I fixed it. All I had to do was turn off Mod_Security in the control panel. I forgot that they added that feature.

      Clivejo,

I'm setting up an automated Press Release Service that automatically archives, post to Facebook and twitter, and sends it to reporters/media sources that are looking for leads. I am modifying/fixing an open source script that was filled with bugs to work correctly. I'm adding spam filters and other goodies to it.
