            This looks like a good Web Based WYSIWYG Editor. You can add multiple users to it so you can let a friend host his/her site on your account. They have a demo you can try out. It doesn't seem to require ftp either.

                  As a newcomer to all this and trying to learn HTML and CSS and Java Script etc it is scary.......especially when I see so plenty of errors in my pages. It doesn't cease them from working but they are way way off being correct. definitely gives you something to look at and top think about.
