  • www canonical issue - new wp set up

we registered a domain here and did the private cluster and WP hosting. "domain.com" is default path and www. rolls to just domain.com. how/where can we reverse this? we would like www.domain.com to be main canonical url where domain.com rolls to www?

also, in our reseller panel we do not see where we can actually manage DNS and verify we have a valid A or CName for WWW?

    -thanks in advance

    Hello theLarry,
You can change your url setting from wordpress admin under general settings IE if someone types yourdomain.com it will default to www.yourdomain.com

You can verify that you have a www.yourdomain.com A record in your reseller panel => My Store => Private DNS Cluster
Click on the graphic under DNS Cluster in the table to open dns cluster settings....

    Hope this helps

The DNS settings can be changed by going into My Store > Private DNS cluster and then clicking on the small green icon.

Then click on the green icon to display the DNS manager.

You are quite handy with those screenshots master clivejo! Appreciate it

Very helpful donrite and clivejo! changing the canonical URL inside of wordpress did the trick (used to Joomla! relying on .htaccess) and the screen shots let me straight to the DNS management area for our domain.

        Thanks a lot guys.

At this point, we're almost there... need to change some plan names, brand our control panel and write some unique replacement content and metas. We already have a couple face2face folks we want to put here instead of our GoDaddy shop, so we should be in the black by the end of next week!
