  • Old specs for Dedicated and VPS Plans

    Hello,
Our Servers and VPS plans are getting too old nowadays,
would there be any specs update?

  • #2
    Hello.

We have recently updated the VPS Servers and introduced the OpenVZ VPS Servers which are utilizing SSD Hard Drives (much more faster then the regular Hard Drives).

We have plans in updating the Dedicated Server specifications as well, however this will be announced by our managers.

I just wanted to say that we are working on this.

    Best Regards,
    Tom.

I think dedicated server package should be reviewed monthly, and new and upgraded competitive package should be deployed faster too...

          Hello.

          Not yet, sorry.

There will be an update whether this would be possible or not after the New Year Holidays.

          Best Regards,
          Tom.

I was about to make a comment asking whether there was an update on this as well, but since Tom already said there'd be one after the holidays, I'll simply say thanks for the information and wait patiently as I always (well OK not always) have.

I'd like to see an update as well. Not trying to pester you guys, but it is, after all, after the New Year's holiday and that's when Tom said we'd see an update on this, lol.

                  Hello.

There will be an update in the hardware specifications of the Dedicated Servers we offer, however there is no exact date when this will happen.

The big news is that the prices will be lowered this week!

Our Marketing Department is currently preparing everything for that decrease and will announce it in the forum!

                  Best Regards,
                  Tom.

Tom, rather than a price decrease for vps I have noticed some providers offering unlimited bandwidth with lower cpu / memory scaling. What are the chances of leaving the pricing scale the same and matching the unlimited bandwidth offerings? Bandwidth seems to be where we are falling short mostly

While I do agree a price decrease wouldn't hurt, I also believe it isn't necessary at this time, and I also agree with donerite here, as I so often do. Many other providers are offering unlimited bandwidth as donerite said, and I do agree that we are falling short on that.

As of this week, all of our dedicated servers come at a lower wholesale price. Here are the old prices, compared to the new ones:
                          Budget – was $125.00; now is $110.00 /mo
                          Value – was $195.00; now is $180.00 /mo
                          Premier – was $340.00; now is 325.00 /mo
We have also updated the default retail prices for all resellers who have not yet set their custom pricing.
Next Wednesday, February 5, at 12 AM GMT, we will also update the current retail prices of resellers who have their custom pricing on their stores. Also, we will decrease the maximum retail price for each dedicated server.
After that global update, you will be able to immediately re-adjust your pricing the way you like within the new price window.
All changes are aimed at encouraging you to be more competitive on the cut-throat hosting market.

As of this week, all dedicated servers we now come at lower wholesale prices. Learn more about our price change.

Today, we have made a major update to our OpenVZ virtual private servers.

After a thorough analysis of the recent trends on the virtual hosting market, we have updated our OpenVZ VPS packages to help you offer a more competitive product to your existing and potential customers.

A CPU uplift of all OpenVZ VPS packages is the first major update. As you can see in the table below, we have considerably increased the CPU share for all of the packages:

To further boost the competitiveness of the OpenVZ-based virtual hosting packages, we have scaled down the prices of all packages between OVZ01-OVZ07 as shown in the table:

We have also updated the default retail prices on behalf of all the resellers who have not yet set their custom prices.
Next Monday, February 17, at 12 AM GMT, we will also update the current retail prices for the OpenVZ VPSs set by the resellers on their stores. Also, we will decrease the maximum retail price for each OpenVZ VPS package as follows:

After that update takes effect, you will be able to immediately re-adjust your pricing the way you like within the new price window.

We hope that this new major update to our OpenVZ VPS packages will take your efforts to offer a trustworthy and affordable virtual hosting service a few steps further.
