Cloudflare Free SSL?

I am not very familiar with how CloudFlare free SSL works, but from what I understand from my CloudFlare control panel it is installed to your site just like any other SSL would be by establishing a CSR, giving you the certificate code, and then giving you a private key. It provided me with instruction on how to do it, but I didn't test it because I already have an SSL installed. In the Hepsia control panel while editing a domain you can actually setup a free SSL through LetsEncrypt if you cannot get the CloudFlare one to work.
