      Thanks for that post that would be a good resouce in future.

      I would like to see an extention of this too. I would like to have this added to the reseller templates and also to the custom templates. I think would be a good resource to show future and possible customers.

        Does it work?

        I'm wondering if this server status actually works. My server, supremeserver14, has been down pretty much consistently for the past few days, but it has never reflected on the server status page. I'm getting increasingly frustrated by the fact that the server never seems to be available.

          Server status page suggested improvements

          This is an excellent feature. It could be improved however by implementing some or all of the following:
          1. When server is down, a field that gives an estimated time to repair.
          2. When issue has been resolved, some more detail around the root cause of the failure and actions to prevent would be useful. So rather than simply posting 'connection refused' or 'connection timed out' or 'no route to host' or 'resource temporarily unavailable' what about actually explaining what each of these mean exactly in each case, and more importantly what is being done each time (if anything) to not just correct the issue but PREVENT it happening again.

          It IS an excellent resource though!
