    Hi RSP,

Thanks for the upgrades on the Business and Corporate Plans. AS well for the new Enterprise plan!

    Happy holidays,

  • #2
I just upgraded to the new Enterprise plan but the upgrade didn't go as smoothly as I expected. Instead the old Corporate plan was upgraded to the New corporate plan parameters rather than the new Enterprise plan. I've submitted a ticket and waiting for a response. So there is a bug or two that needs to be worked out with the upgrade system.

Edit: Issue resolved in less than 20 minutes...

Hey, that's great they fixed it so fast!

I do have to agree with how good the support is. I've been bugging them to death today, and they always come back with a cheery response!

You haven't seen? The Business plan now hosts 3 domains (in addition to other upgrades), and the Corporate plan hosts 30 domains now (also in addition to other upgrades). To top it all off, there is a new plan called Enterprise, with 40 GB of storage and 500 GB of transfer - it hosts UNLIMITED sites, UNLIMITED MySQLs, UNLIMITED emails, etc.....it's great!

It's only for us to buy and not to resell?

The Enterprise plan also allows 200,000 files. I'm not sure about the other older plans though. Far as I know they still host 50,000 files.

coyouth, you can sell the new plan and the upgraded corporate and business plans.

No, you can resell it too! That's what's so fantastic about it!

But our website doesn't seem to show the "upgrades" for the business & corporate plans.

Really? Hmmm, try disabling them, and then re-enabling them through your RCP. I imagine that will do the trick.

RSP: Will this change in the busines/corporate plan occur for existing clients or accounts? Or only for new accounts? Cause I have a business account from earlier this year, and have purchased a couple domain upgrades, so now I have 3. But if this upgrade occurs to existing customers it would give me a good 6... I doubt this would be available, but at least for new customers and renewing ones it will be

                            Regards,

I don't want to be the party pooper but... well, gonna be the party pooper.

Having all that space, extra or unlimted domains and/or databases is great... if you are running small sites that get little traffic. Keep in mind that these are shared servers and the load is 4.5% of the total server resource per day, per account. I have two sites running on my Corporate account and they can get right up to, and teeter on the 4.5% line at times. When I slip over... my sites are down until I get online and can ask them to be restored. So, having the ability to host multiple domains on one account is not always the bee's knees.

Now I am not saying that allowing us to offer it is a bad thing because it is not a bad thing and I applaud RSP for increasing services and decreasing prices. However, it is not the slice of cake you think you need to increase sales.

                              Just a thought...
