  • Selling Adspace to Raise Money for My Wedding

    wedding.syow.org

Yup, I, Leigh McCulloch, am marrying to Donna Trim in October 2007. I am a 21 year old software developer in Sydney, Australia. I am struggling to find the money to cover all the costs for the wedding and to be able to take my fiance on a honey moon.

The cost of weddings are huge here and our parents aren't rich. My fiance means the world to me, and this being such a special occasion I want this day to be as wonderful as it can be.

I am putting it to the Internet... Help me afford this wedding and link to wedding.syow.org, and advertise on the website!

Advertising is charged on a per day rate, calculated per second.

I've dropped the ad prices now. They were a bit excessive at first.

      $50,000 for a wedding ?????

You could spend around $100 having your names changed leagaly, another $200 on a good party.

Your only 21, 50 grand is a lot of money. Take it from someone who's been there, think more to the future and what you need before blowing it all on a wedding.

That's just my opinion and advise, I'm not telling you what you should do.

        Hey The Loon,

Yup I do not intend on spending $50k on a wedding, but I aimed high with the number because statistically its better to aim above what you need.
If we actually got that much I'd donate the rest to a charity, or put it into a house deposit or alike.

Yea, well best of luck finding. I wish I could put my ad on your site but at this time my budget here on RSP and what I got in pocket cannot fill any more advertising costs.

Well good luck in your quest, deposit on a house sounds good.

Good luck to you and Donna for the future.
