            Iads nailed it, I am having problems. I just restored win8 and did the 8.1 upgrade. Now every time I post to the forum IE will not let me post until I open some weird app. Note this a clean install too. Sorry for the confusion I am trying to track the issue down.

                    Time to revert to windows 7, I think, lol. There's another classic example of why I don't want anything to do with 8, or 8.1, or 8.x or...well lets just say anything to do with 8, unless it's on a phone or touch tablet, lol.

                    I don't have a problem with Windows 8. I can't upgrade to 8.1 my pc isn't compatible with it so I can't comment on 8.1

                      It says that my CPU doesn't support Win 8.1 Something about no support for one or all of PAE, NX and SSE2 whatever those mean. I have an AMD Athlon 64 X 2
