Which version Of windoze are you using? If you are using 7 or below you can dual boot with linux without a hassle and still access your windows partition and files with no trouble... Linux is less resource intensive so it may help you some.. I have been in your position more than several times.. Hit clivejo up for more information.. Ugghh 7 min boot times... Whew!, I never turn linux off... Just reboot with the new software updates, and Im one to be talking cuz I am nursing a flaky mouse LMAO!
