It depends on your requirements, I mostly use page rank checker, no do follow and Seo quake.

I use SEO Powersuite on a regular basis. It's not just one tool, it's a collection of SEO apps that has a keyword tool, a backlink checker, a site auditor, etc.

I use it to checks my own website (backlinks, onpage errors, SERPs rankings) and to spy on my competitors.
