My advise is to hire a professional web developer (there is a lot of freelance developers around) to help you integrate the API functionality in your site. We do not provide any support for the API other than the extensive documentation it already comes with.

Joomla can be a bit of a headache to integrate the api into as it has an extremelybad habit of breaking page html.

I have actually had more success from building a site out of static pages than using Joomla with custom articles/modules.
