[ask] how to set up the rss news on joomla

i want to ask how to set up the rss news on joomla site?

i would like to have the rss news on the left sidebar like the rsp template.

i have use the module by slick rss but no result.

i am also using Joomla! and having issues integrating the RSS i have set it up under

components ----- newsfeeds

however when i view that page i just see a heading a nothing else anyone had these issues?
