New Store Template And Wordpress

For those of you on the wordpress themes and are playing with the new released store theme.... If you select the new template in the reseller panel so you can play with it, the order form will not function for your wordpress theme..... found out the hard way and thought I would give a heads up.....

For those that have tested the new RSP responsive theme template - how does it compare to using the WordPress themes?

Do have the new template selected right now larry? Myself, I have not been able to reselect the template since RSP marked the order form "glitch" resolved.... I contacted support about that and was told the new template was disabled at present because The DEV's were still working on it and this still seems to be the case some few hours later right now...

For the Record... I wasn't getting code errors when I tried the template this morning but rather 404 page not found for the order page so a ticket might be in order.

Index, as soon as I'm able to actually activate the theme I'll let you know.... strasserc got in on it early before it was disabled. What he has going on looks pretty good.... send him a pm..

For some reason a lot of services based in the US are throwing 503 errors over this past 24hours. There is another post on the forum regarding not being able to access the Resellers Panel and I think these two issues are related. Basically the order form is pulled in from a remote server and that server was throwing 503 errors at the time.

There seems to be a number of attacks being directed at certain IP addresses and I would reckon this is the reason why. The devs report the problem as being fixed on the other thread.

thanks clivejo! It seems to be all sorted now! and @doneright - no, haven't touched the new template, no changes to my WP site... we just noticed the order page had blown up.

Ok for the record.... the above issues are resolved.... New template can be selected in the resellerpanel AND the order form will work if your reseller store is on a wp theme.... Now for a little fun with the new template

I've been looking at the new theme template. The only thing I'm not impressed about is that it supports only 4 shared hosting plans, but I suppose that's not too much of a shocker. My current business model, I need to be able to have at LEAST 5 shared plans visible on the website, so until they update the new template to allow for 5 or more plans, I'll be sticking with the WP theme. Otherwise, however, I like the new theme.
