  • Term of Service

Using our own website to resell RSP hosting, can we copy exact the Term of Service without changing anything including the company name or do we need to change it to our company name ?

    Thanks.

    hi

think it should be ok for us to copy everything and change the name to our company, as we are the reseller and set some tos for our client.

i'm am also on the process in my web setup too

drambeau, daisuke, you can use your company/store name on the Terms and Conditions of service when you add them to a custom-designed reseller store. Changing the name in the Terms of Service is up to you, but you must not alter the rest of the document.

Hmm, Your company name should already appear on the terms of service when using the templates. At least it shows on my RSP template site. So you should be able to just copy and paste it without making any changes.

          hi, some newbie question here

          It is because,
when we have a cpanel reseller account
we have the so call full admin right to create an fully custoum web hosting packet for our client

The only information that listed in the whm control or user account
is the domain name & user login & password.
no other information like full name, address, dob etc is not record or created

          For this reason
we can we create our own Term of Service, Privacy Policy etc etc...
and at the same time, use some small part of the Term of Service or Privacy Policy already provided for us???

as this will be very useful guild line for us how to create a Term of Service, Privacy Policy that sult our need or the Local Law here

          Thanks
          Daisuke

daisuke, yes you can use parts of our Terms of Service and/or Privacy Policy, to create a custom TOS or Privacy Policy. Just make sure that you will the cPanel TOS as they differ from the TOS applicable to the web hosting packages purchased under the free reseller program.
