    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Dear Valued Resellers,

We would like to draw your attention to our newest introduction to the ResellersPanel Control Panel. The new feature will enable you to offer a WHOIS/ID protection service to your customers, thus allowing them to shield their online data, assigned to the WHOIS Contact information upon domain name registration.

This new feature will be introduced as a response to your numerous requests for integrating the ID Protect option into customers’ Control Panels. The service will be applicable to .com/.net/.org/.biz/.info extensions and will protect registrants’ identity against spammers, stalkers and fraudsters, who obtain information from the public data of domain names. This will be a good selling point for the domain name services that you provide and will add an additional level of security to your overall online presence.

The ID Protection service can be ordered for domain names that are registered with us or transferred to our registrar subsequently, and will be sold on an annual basis only, on condition that the number of years does not exceed the number of years of the domain registration. From the IDP Prices section of your reseller Control Panel (under Domain Pricing) you will be able to define the service pricing for one year as well as for multiple years, which allows you to offer attractive discounts to your clients.

As of now, the WHOIS/ID protection service is not yet active in customers’ Control Panels, since we are running final tests of the feature's functionality. Nevertheless, starting from tomorrow – you will have the possibility to set up the feature pricing and get ready to start selling the new service as soon as we launch it officially online very soon.
Is this service available to us as resellers as well?

drummerboy, resellers cannot order ID protection for their domains through the reseller control panel (they can do so by contacting us, we will provide the reseller with a payment link, the service is priced $10USD per domain per year). However, it would be reasonable to have this feature implemented into the reseller control panel for reseller domains as well. I will pass this suggestion to our managers and developers.

And it would be a good idea to have ID protection for those s_upre_mese_rver domain names as well as it would further improve the anonymity of the resellers. The thing is, what would be in place of the original details that would be seen by people who purchased the ID protection. Would it be possible if you gave us an example?

I will pass your suggestion to the company management. However, I cannot guarantee that it will be approved and implemented.
