I just have a few questions I would like to ask to make sure I understand everything.

With the free reseller plan:

1. Can I offer free web hosting and get paid on upgrades?
2. Is there any subdomaining allowed? Is there a comprehensive list of feature with the reseller hosting?

No,you can't.All are paid hosting.

Paid hosting allow subdomain,depends on the plan features as well as the plan you created via liquid plan builder.
