  • SSH and SSL

The free reseller account should have the options of ssh or ssl certificates listed on our site to show we are a secure and trusted site. The C-Panel hosting has it so why can't we have it for our free accounts. I know this would cost extra but some of us would pay it.

Why don't you just make your own website instead of using the free reseller template? Your webmaster should be able to develop it for you as you said he knows most of the platforms like Perl, Python, PHP and so on.

SSL encryption is used where necessary – on the Signup/Order pages, where sensitive financial and personal information is entered and transmitted. SSH (secure shell) has nothing to do with reseller websites, it is a type of encrypted server access through a command line terminal that is available as an optional upgrade for web hosting plans.

As J.L.H.C. has mentioned, you can create your own reseller site and order a SSL certificate for it from a certificate issuance authority, although there is little sense in using a SSL certificate for parts of a website that are not used to transmit sensitive information.

P.S. Formatting entire forum posts in bold does not make them stand out, but is perceived as a sign of poor netiquette.
