  • Api E.t.a.

    Hi,
I have been looking into using API for a few months now; however, for most of this time the API features have been unavailable due to a large scale update. At roughly the end of November I was given a rough estimate of 1-2 months until completion. I was wondering if now there might be a slightly more definite estimate available. I realize that it is difficult to be very specific and certain with these things but I would appreciate any information available even if it isn't totally accurate or definite. Having API available affects my planning of an update to be RSP website so any would be really helpful.

    Thanks,
    Chris

I have no news regarding the new API development/release from the Marketing or the Development teams yet. I have sent an information request to the Marketing team regarding the new API. I will provide an update as soon as any new information about the new API becomes available.

According to the latest update from our Development Department, if everything goes according to plan and there are no unexpected difficulties, the new reseller API should be available by the end of the first quarter of this year.

We are approaching March now. I was hoping you may be able to provide an update. You previously stated the API update was expected before the end of the first quarter of this year. Is this still accurate? Can you provide a more specific answer now?

As I said before, I do understand that oftentimes it is difficult to be totally accurate with these things. However, it would be very helpful to me if I had a specific date even one that is tentative. So if you could send a new information request I would greatly appreciate it.

          Thanks

YWS, I do not have an update regarding the API release from the developers or the Marketing Department, on the other hand I have not heard about any delays either, so let us hope that everything goes well and the API becomes available before the end of March.

I spoke with the head of the Marketing Department and he said that the new reseller API was practically ready. However, some time for final testing and preparing of the API documentation will still be necessary before the new API is launched.
