Hi RSP, I noticed in the latest news item about maintenance on supcenter49 and 100, it says:

The purpose of the maintenance is attachment of SupCenter49.com to the cluster of SupCenter100.com

I'm wondering what this cluster is? Is this the new clustered hosting solution we've heard about coming to us sometime in the future?

Clustered services are coming one step at a time. As you probably know already, separate dedicated machines already handle the DNS resolution and email processing and delivery. With sup_center100, which is one of the newest shared hosting servers, separate machines also handle some of the other provided services.

It's cool to see things are moving along with the new 100 server with the clustered features. So that means with customers no sever 100, they are using the new clustered setup?

Not quite. Some of the other services are placed on separate machines, but not everything we would like yet. As I said, the clustered services are introduced one step at a time .
