Free domain - how does it work?

1. I assume that my customer only gets the free domain for 1 year for free, then he has to renew it at full price, right?

2. So, if the free domain is only good for 1 year (as I assumed above), does my wholesale cost for that sold plan go back down to the normal wholesale price (meaning: no $6 increase therefore starter plan becomes $30 wholesale again instead of $36) when the customer renews the hosting plan the next year?

This isn't clear to me in the CP.

Sorry if this has been asked before. I did a forum search for "free domain" but oddly enough I didn't find a thread that addresses this issue.

Is this also how the "Domain + hosting" price works? I mean, is the "domain + hosting" price valid for as long as the hosting account is renewed or is this price only good for the 1st year?

Hello,

No, the "Domain + Hosting" price is only valid for the initial registration/transfer.

The next domain name renewal will be on its regular price.
