We are glad to announce that the new updated Domain Manager is ready to use and launched online in the customers' Web Hosting Control Panel. As we announced yesterday in our Domain Manager news, the changes concern mainly the domain statuses, which have been updated and enhanced. Four new statuses have been added to provide more comprehensive and up-to-date information about the status periods of your customers' domain names.
The specific status of each domain name will be displayed by a type icon located next to the domain name, opening a tooltip with more detailed explanation about the particular status. From the Expiration/Renewal column you can open another tooltip providing option for according domain action.
The Pending Registry Delete period, if reached, will be displayed only for your information, as no action can be taken during this time. The rest three periods however offer some possibilities for retrieving/registering the expired domain name.
If you open a tooltip from the Expiration/Renewal column of a domain name in RGP (Redemption Grace Period), you will be given the opportunity to retrieve the domain name from deletion and renew it against its regular renewal fee plus added its redemption fee.
If you open a tooltip of a domain name in extended RGP (Extended Redemption Grace Period) you will view further details on how to retrieve the domain name, including direct link for contacting our support team.
The 'Released by Registry' period tooltip in the Expiration/Renewal column will be giving you the opportunity to newly register the domain name, that had been returned by its Registry to the public pool of available domain names, or register a new domain with the same second-level name and a different TLD, in the case the domain name has been already taken.
We hope that the new update will facilitate and please your reseller web hosting customers, and make the management of their domain names as easy as a breeze.
With compliments, from ResellersPanel!
