Site stats analysis
WebLog Expert
great alternative, especially useful for checking sites that don't have any of the more popular analyzers, just need access to the log files, can run everything on your own machine
comes in a very lite, but still useful free version and a paid version

My most important toolbar
If I only maintained one toolbar, this would be it. Don't let the name fool you, it is so much more and might better be called "Web Designers Excalibur"
anywy, go to Accessible Information Solutions if you haven't already and get the Web Accessibility Toolbar.
If you want to really blow your mind, click on the Structure Button (not the down arrow part), wait a second, then hover your mouse over any element on the web page.
You'll never look at web pages the same way again.

Thanks for the link
Wow! what can I say....WOW!
Just downloaded and been playing about with that toolbar......absolutely unbelievable what you can do with it.
As a newcomer to all this and just trying to learn HTML and CSS and Java Script etc it is frightening....especially when I see so many errors in my pages. It doesn't stop them from working but they are way way off being correct. certainly gives you something to look at and top think about.

Oldie, but still a goody. And it's still free: Extreme Tracking http://extreme-dm.com/tracking/
...and as cwreseller was the first to be turned onto BoldCenter chat by yours truly, I also wish to add that the BoldCenter Operator Client.Net by Bravestorm LLC., does have a free and a pay for version.Last edited by Guest; 10-05-2005, 05:15 AM.

I have been checking my websites using Accessible Information Solutions and it is firghtening as my HTML is a right mess.
this really bothered me until I decided to check out about 20 other websites and out of these there were only 2 that were OK.
All the others had similar problems to my own and some of them I just don't understand.
e.g. I am currently trying to learn HTML and accordingly am using a color code in HTML such as #ccffff or whatever. However this is showing as an error with the arrow pointing at the # sign suggesting it shouldn't be there.
To be honest the more I try to delve into things the less clear they become so for the time being I think I will 'keep it simple'
If you try this on your own websites I guess a lot will find the same probs as I did.
