Last year I had left Resellerpanel and had asked that all accounts be closed. All domains that were purchased through here were moved and or transferred. Still getting emails about expiration dates of these domains. (no body even bothers to check and see that the dates had been changed) Every time I get one of these emails I write back to remind you guys that no longer under you. Every time I get an email back that this will not happen again. Balogne still happening and now one of our domains is high jacked. This is rediculous. You mean once in your hands you can't leave. Have tried to be civil but this is going beyond just a simple harassement.

Kind of worrying to hear that.. as I have a lot of clients on RSP.

@iPhone: I have been working in this company for the past 3 years and I can assure you it is far from failing
@The Stealthy One: I wish to politely ask you not to start flaming the forum. I understand you obviously have some unsatisfaction built up concerning our services, but I would ask you not to express it in such a way as to start spreading panic among the people who are actually spending a lot of time and effort to build their business based on our services. It is, at the very least, unethical towards not just us as a company, but towards all those resellers out there reading what you write.
@jkacp: I would recommend that you contact us via e-mail or a ticket if you are still experiencing such issues, providing us with exact information what notifications you receive, since some older domains that are transferred away quite a while back are still with status Active untill we change it manually. This problem has been solved for all newer accounts and domain names.Last edited by Louisa; 20-07-2010, 09:39 PM.

Louisa, mine was not a flame. But a reaction like yours is why I lurk most of the time.
It is true RSP has lost quite a bit of weighted market share over the years because of certain practices at the company. I think this has been desired by RSP management, but whatever the reason - it is still very much a fact.

Lurking is not needed, just the good tone of voice, which is also mentioned in our forum rules
As for market share - I do not really have any statistics to justify or contradict your opinion, I was just sharing my own impressions as someone who is working inside the company and has a good view of how things are working, what is being done and how the company is actually growing, as much as my position of a technical support representative allows.

!!!!WARNING!!!!
THIS IS NOT A FLAME
!!!!WARNING!!!!
lol! Ok, now that has been made clear, I shall say my piece.
RSP has had issues (so to say) with a few resellers over the years, which while never desired, it is always impossible to keep everyone 100% satisfied 100% of the time.
As for Louisa's reaction to Jackp's and StealthyOne's posts, this is a discussion forum. So long as it doesn't get out of hand, this should be a place to discuss both the good and bad points of RSP. Resellers are intelligent people and won't panic at the first sign of one person having issues with RSP.
That aside, I hope the you get your problems sorted and are able to move on Jackp, I wish you could have stayed personally, I enjoyed reading your posts.

I'm with you Tarek!
I've been at other places and I consider RSP to be my home. I have always had great support here and the support staff have always been very helpful. Especially in the beginning when I was such an ignoramus about hosting that I almost had to have my hand held at every move.
Sorry JKACP about your experience here but it does not reflect at all about my experiences with RSP. Good luck wherever you go.
And to Daniel, aka The Stealthy One, I don't think you will ever be happy wherever you go. That is my opinion from reading your posts over the years. I think you are bright, intelligent and at times have been very helpful to other members of the forum. But at times you have been..... well, I think you know. Good luck in your future ventures but I, for one, have gotten quite tired of your whining over the years.

Well the market is tough
With so many free host out there it is tough just to market hosting you have to be creative you have your hands on a powerful tool here there are so many ways to use this platform with a little start up money the possiblitys are there you just have to find your nitch. I'm not going to give them away now but have been thinking of a few diffrent ideas. But I may be perswayed to sell them.

I'll say again, I have been associated with other hosting companies and when it's all said and done, this is the best one that I have found. I have been very happy with their excellent support and have never had any significant downtime with any of the clients that I have placed here.
Regardless of where you go, mistakes and problems will happen. No one company is perfect. However, I have found that when I do have a situation arise RSP is quick to respond and solve the problem. Maybe it hasn't worked out for some, but for me, I am very happy here.
And best of all, it's free! Others want to charge what RSP gives away.
