I agree with iPhone. According to Paypal's site, and I have just checkedthe link he provided, the UK side of Paypal, since it says uk in the link itself, does in fact support recurring payments. Please pass this information alon to your management team along with the link that iPhone supplied, and that should, I believe and hope, sort out RSP's paypal issues.

Here is another link I found on Paypal, along with some information from that link under it:

Transfer money online in seconds with PayPal money transfer. All you need is an email address.

Subscriptions and Recurring Payments Accept recurring payments with flexible, automated payment requests.

So you see, the UK part of Paypal does support recurring billing. Basically, the resellers just helped you to fix your paypal problems, which is actually good because the Resellers get to interact with RSP and somethimes the resellers can find things that RSP can't. It's one of the reasons why I'm not convinced to leave RSP yet. Hopefully, the information we provided will help get monthly billing up and running.

        Waiting for the official announcement...
        finally recurring billing is introduced...
for me,that's nothing, because only annual billing option, but not monthly billing option...
however,it's a good news for all resellers...
        appreciate it.

As wjleong noted the support for recurring billing has just been introduced today. At the moment it covers only the annual billing cycle, but I hope that monthly billing will be added soon as well. Unfortunately, I have no updates about the monthly billing option yet.

YAY! A huge step towards Monthly Billing! I believe RSP will be releasing monthly billing within the next 1-3 weeks. Note that isn't actually what RSP told me or anything, its just my opinion of what will happen. But still, this is very good news indeed. I am much satisfied with the progress made today. Now to wait for the complete satisfaction of Monthly Billing, which is coming hopefully before the end of April, but we shall see. Thank you RSP!

It would be interesting to know, once monthly billing has been set up and has been available for 6 months or so, if RSP sees a definite uptick in sales. I, for one, have never been asked by my customers if monthly billing is available. And if it ever is, I probably will not use it as a selling point. I want long term relationships with my customers, not fly-by-nighters.

I think it's going to be a personal choice whether or not to use the monthly payment option as a selling point.

iPhone, im sure they'll update us in due time. Have a little patience dude ! If we keep bugging them constantly it'll just frustrate them.

Even if it is not, it would be feasible to price the monthly payment to such a high extent that most users would be attracted to the yearly payments.

Resellerspanel losing about 50% of sales

Since its inception Resellerspanel.com has been missing out on a huge number of sales. This is due to the lack of monthly payment options for customers (end users). Everybody knows that most webmasters (about 90%) prefer monthly payments. The reason for this is either a pure financial one or (experienced) webmasters want to try out a host first or it's a combination of both. And it seems always easier/safer to try a small monthly payment first than just trusting a money back guarantee from a company you don't know. Sounds logical, isn't it? My conclusion: Resellerspanel.com should implement monthly payments asap. It may DOUBLE sales ! So what takes "us" so long? I really don't understand that others don't understand the logic of this.

Very true. The more time RSP take to implement this, the more potential sales their losing.

I do know that with the state of the world's economy the way it is and all the forums out there telling people not to put them self in a long term deal, many people are fearful of making a yearly commitment.
Way back when we were searching for a host, we too did not want to sign up for a year until the facts were in and we were comfortable with the company that we were using. Needless to say, we did go through a few. Some are no longer around.
It really would be beneficial to all of us if we could implement monthly hosting on our free reseller panel, and or to somehow integrate the ability to add clients through our provided billing programs in cPanel.

What a dream world that would be.

Set your customer up on a PayPal subscription...

It seems that the monthly payment has been an issue for a long time. It is really simple to solve.

Simply setup a way that your customers are put on a subscription through your PayPal account - PayPal will handle your billing. Then you simply buy an RSP account, change the account information to that of your customer's and hand it over - viola! you have monthly billing.

It may be a little troublesome for a while, with that huge flood of customers that have been waiting to buy from you when you got a monthly billing process but when you bring the huge income figures back to RSP as proof they will certainly change their ways in short order.

I wonder why no one has done something like this hhmmmm.....
