thanks for the reply index. when you say blog page do you mean that you are using one of the static pages you have modified for this purpose or are you publishing articals like normal and then linking to them off the static home page?

I actually created a 'Category' called News and added a link to that category on the main menu.

Then published my news as 'Posts' to that 'News' category.

Then used a Widget Shortcode to link it in the right hand column.

Hope that makes sense - lol

yep that makes alot of sense i was actually looking for a plugin that would display 5 to10 most recent artical titles in the sidebar and link to the articals they has got to be one. ill post the name of it if i find what i am looking for.
